Whilst waiting for my bus today, the win was actually being blown into the bus stop, meaning i got even more wet! So I stood behind the bus stop to keep dry, meaning that the bus didn't see me and nearly drove past.
Also, the wind blew my umbrella to pieces, which teaches me not to use an umbrella in Pompey.
Damn weather...

I'm afraid bus companies don't generally either own or determine the exact position of bus stops or shelters...this is determined by the local authority in conjunction with the police and any shelter providers (eg Adshel).
Although bus companies may request a stop at a particular location, the exact positioning is always in the hands of these bodies.
